This certificate will provide entry-level job-based training to students interested or already employed in the livestock work force. Graduates will gain the skills needed to enter into employment with a range of cattle producers or production systems. Specific areas of instruction include an introduction to applied nutrition, safe and low stress animal handling, health and treatment and pasture management.
