There are 10 concept areas for training:
Within the fifteen (15) Continuing Education Credits required, the following minimums/concept must be obtained:
•2 credits on Regulations (i.e. new regulations, regulatory concerns)
•2 credits in Health and Pesticide Safety (i.e. safe application, storage, disposal of pesticides - practices to ensure personal, bystander, animal health, etc.)
•1 credit in Environment (i.e. environmental issues, pesticide fate, runoff, movement, leaching, etc.)
•2 credits in Pest Management (i.e. pest description, pesticide characteristics, Integrated Pest Management, etc.)
•2 credits in Application Technology (i.e. calibration clinics, drift modelling, new equipment demonstrations, etc.)
A maximum of 10 Continuing Education Credits can be obtained in any one year.
