**** FAQ**** What if I am already a UTW but want to be UTT???

If you are already a UTW but want to be UTT  you need to  have completed at least 600 hours in the aerial position and have them signed off on by a Certified UTT in your log book you may apply for a UTT Certification. Time can be spent trimming trees from within the tree or from an insulated aerial device. Hours of experience must be hours actually working from an aerial position, not other work as part of an aerial trimming operation such as ground or chipper work or truck driving.

To apply for UTT Certification you can simply complete a new UTT  application form and provide our office with a copy of the 600 verified aerial hours and a form of payment for the application ($105 for members or $315 for non-members) and we can complete the UTT Certification. A UTT Certification application has been attached to this email.

UTT Certification would only be valid until the same expiry date as your current UTW Certification.
