Social Entrepreneurship Strategies

This course covers the various ways that entrepreneurs with a social conscience and non-profit enterprises can use business models to solve social and environmental issues.  Topics will include foundations, corporate social responsibility, and a comparison of social enterprise and for-profit enterprises.  Students will evaluate potential social entrepreneurship initiatives and develop a business plan.

Pre-requisite:

(Can be taken as Co-requisites) - Entrepreneurship Essentials, Principles of Marketing, and Financial Literacy
