The shortage of workers in the Canadian agriculture and agri-foods sector is expected to grow by 114,000 by the year 2025, and the skills required to own and operate a modern farm are changing every day. Automation and data-analytics are game-changer technologies in the agriculture space. This three phase ‘education series’ is designed to take producers, with little to no experience in these technologies, on a journey from a concept through to the adoption of practice on their own operations.
Phase 1: Introduction to Autonomous Agriculture | February 24, 2021
Phase 1 will bring awareness to how automation and data-analytics are currently being used in agriculture and will challenge producers to vision how they could adapt and adopt on their own operations.
