| In this advanced massage course, you will study more advanced therapy including post and performance massage, stretching, and mobilization techniques as part of the scope of practice. The course will also focus on the purpose and application of lymphatic drainage massage, stress point therapy, and myofascial release therapy to improve equine health. You will learn how to implement a massage routine, different techniques, and maneuver the horse so it accepts treatment before and after the performance. By the end of this course, you will create a homecare plan to improve the health and performance of the horse.
