The Hydraulic Operations microcredential will provide individuals in a wide variety of fields, a better understanding of how hydraulics work, identifying the function of system components, and explaining the relationship between pressure, and flow in a hydraulic system. The course also focuses on safety considerations and different kinds of maintenance of hydraulic systems. The Hydraulics Operations microcredential will support upskilling and reskilling efforts to fill a number of industry-identified roles with agriculture sector firms (as well as firms in a range of other sectors from aviation and construction to transportation), including heavy equipment operators, agriculture equipment operators, customer technical support specialists, maintenance technicians, and field support specialists. here are three modules, each addressing a workplace competency.
